What is a Biothane® Leash?
Our Biothane® Beta leashes and collars have a 1000lb break strength per 1" width. Biothane® gets brittle at extremely low temperatures. Biothane® breaking down point starts at a whopping -56°F (-49°C)!
We also carry Biothane® Rope comes in 1/4" and 5/16" width.
5/16" BioRope has a 900lb. break strength.
1/4" BioRope has a 600lb. break strength.
Biothane® is a trademarked artificial material that has the look and feel of leather, but without the problems that comes with leather. It’s basically a polyester webbing with a TPU or PVC coating that makes it a nearly indestructible dog collar that is also waterproof, and easy to clean.
Biothane® is strong, durable, and pliable. It comes in various widths, thicknesses, and colors. One aspect I truly appreciate is just how low maintenance Biothane® is compared to leather.

Cleaning Your Biothane® is a Breeze
It’s a dog eat dog collar and leash world out there, but Biothane® dog collars and leashes stay strong in the face of, well, a dog’s face. Even the strongest leather can be worn down after a few too many chews. Biothane® coated webbing, on the other paw, makes for the best dog collars on the market today.
Nobody wants to deal with a dirty dog collar or leash. Unfortunately, dogs aren’t as focused on keeping their collars or leashes clean. Whether it’s from the rain or the mud your dog decided to roll in, leather collars can become dirty and dried out over time and begin to stink.
Biothane® is waterproof, stink-proof, and headache proof for dog owners. When it gets muddy or soiled, simply wash it with soap and water and wipe it dry.

Our HANDSITCHED 1/2" Leashes come in a multitude of colors. The DOUBLE X pattern can only be handstitched. Once you feel the quality of our stitching you will be hooked. We personally guarantee each leash is made to withstand just less than 800lbs of pressure.
Our 3/4" INCEPTOR Leashes come in multiple colors. They are held together with solid brass Chicago screws. Each screw is secured in place with red Loctite. Even a heat gun will not loosen the screws once the Loctite settles. The BioThane® will melt before the screw can be loosened.

OD GREEN: Each Biothane® leash is comes standard with a solid brass snap bolt. The OD Green Color is our signature Military Leash and has a break strength of 800lbs.
Each Biothane® leash can be upgraded to a QuikR Clip with a double eye swivel. The QuikR Clip allows you to deploy your partner in a moment’s notice.
Night Owl: The perfect Biothane® leash for the officer assigned to 2nd or 3rd shift. This leash is comprised of a lighter Biothane yet stronger material that has 1300lb break strength.
The Super Grip material from Biothane has large pimples for extra control. It is both very soft and supple for the handler.

BIOTHANE TRACKING LEADS
Train with confidence when you are using a Mid-Atlantic K9 leash or line. All of our tracking leads are made by hand, one at a time, here in the United States. We aim to keep our tracking leads as strong and light weight as possible.
Our 1/2" Biothane® Leads start at 15 Feet minimum and goes as long as 50 Feet.
Our 3/4" Biothane® Leads are built to a maximum length of 15 Feet.
We do not offer the Super Grip as a tracking lead because the weight.
Distance Markers are available for you to mark a place along your lead (in feet) when you order.

These products are already discounted and do not apply to any sale or promo code we offer. These products are all one of a kind. They range from Puppy Drag Leashes to our normal 6' Dog Leashes that have minor cosmetic blemishes.

30' Biothane Tracking Leads are kept in stock. All Other lengths are all MTO.
All tracking leads come standard with Brass snap bolt. Optional Black snap bolt and QuikR Rope Clip are available to upgrade.
5/16" BioRope comes standard in Orange.
Black, Pink, Blue, Yellow, Brown, or Red are available for lengths greater than 30'.
5/16" is designed for working dogs.
1/4" BioRope comes in Black, Blue, Neon Green, Orange, Neon Pink, Purple, Red, Teal, and Neon Yellow.
1/4" is designed for PETS ONLY! Come standard with Brass snap bolt.
Shipping & Handling Policies
All items are custom made at the time of order so please allow processing time (3-5 days) before shipping. Please note the shipping date on your invoice. During holiday season (October-December) processing time may be delayed for up a week or two.
All government contracted orders take precedence and therefore may delay your order. Please be patient, your new K9 Tack will be well worth it.
If you have a rush request, please contact us AHEAD OF TIME prior to ordering.
Orders will be shipped USPS first class or priority mail with tracking within the United States and USPS first class International without tracking to the rest of the world.
Return Policy
You must contact us WITHIN 5 DAYS of receiving your order to ask for an exchange or return. NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS AT ALL!
Any return or exchange found not to be in new condition will be voided.
If YOU ordered the wrong size for your dog, YOU will need to pay for the additional shipping cost with no refund of postage for your new item.
If we sent you the wrong product, WE will pay for the return shipping at no cost to you.
Any and all custom order Biothane® leashes that are not normally made by us are not returnable.
